Services, Inc. is proud to be selected as a resource for Air
Force's EITA (Enterprise Information Technology Acquisition)
program. In July, 2004, the Department of Defense has awarded
a contract worth up to $498 million to five prime contractors
to provide Information Technology services to the group that
oversees Air Force's supply operations.
The Materiel Systems Group (MSG) at Wright-Patterson Air
Force Base in Dayton, OH will utilize the five-year, indefinite
delivery/indefinite quantity contract for IT development,
process improvement, maintenance and support. The Materiel
Systems Group modernizes IT systems and sustains legacy logistics
systems that help enable logistics readiness and combat support
capabilities. The selected prime contractors include Lockheed
Martin Corporation, Accenture, Computer Science Corporation,
Northrop Grumman Corporation, and Science Appications International
Corporation.
"The enterprise-wide solutions that will be provided
through the EITA program are absolutely key to establishing
the collaborative work environment that battle commanders
need," said Pete Rogers, vice president for combat support
capabilities in Lockheed Martin's Integrated Systems and Solutions
division in Gaithersburg, Md., in a July 13 company statement.
Each prime contract company will use a litmited number of
sub-contract services to staff the upcoming projects. The
EITA program runs through June, 2009.
