Roytman Information Services, Inc. To Explore Offshore Services |
Company To Conduct A Study Of Expanded Outsourcing Capabilities
|
Dayton, OH, USA
July 7, 2003 - Roytman Information
Services, Inc., a provider of Information Technology, Management
and Engineering consulting and employment placement solutions
will explore an opportunity of adding Offshore Technological
resources to its consulting portfolio. “Over the last
2 years we have heard numerous requests from our clients in
search of less expensive, round the clock services to open up
offshore initiatives,” said the President of the company,
Mikhail Roytman. “Both small firms and global organizations
are trying to minimize IT expenses and the recent trend was
to look abroad. Many consulting companies have tried this path,
yet very few have succeeded. We will take a very careful approach
to assure a satisfactory solution.”
Roytman Information Services, Inc. will utilize its current
networking circle to research the feasibility of either opening
a new office(s), or building a partnership with an established
company overseas. Among potential suitors are Russia, Ukraine,
Israel, Romania, Moldova, and Latvia. “The offshore
outsourcing in Information Technology of the last decade was
dominated by companies in India. However, the most recent
research has suggested to look elsewhere based on concerns
of growing prices, market oversaturation and to some degree
cultural differences,” explained Mikhail.
The company plans to first explore remote software development
efforts, and at a later date will consider other services, such
as helpdesk, LAN/WAN support, disaster recovery, system/database
administration, data operations, etc. The study is expected
to be concluded by end of 2003.
